You’re here because you’ve been obeying rules you didn’t write.
Old scripts. Invisible expectations. The “be good, be easy, be reasonable” contract.
Gentle roast:
you’ve been calling it responsibility. But some of what you’re doing is just compliance. It costs you energy, honesty, and direction.
The leak is tiny daily betrayals:
saying yes to avoid disappointment, staying to avoid conflict, choosing “safe” to avoid judgment, over-explaining like you’re on trial.
The fix is quiet rebellion.
Name the cage in one sentence: “I feel managed by ___.” Then take one small freedom action that leaves evidence: take your time, change the plan, stop explaining, say “not today,” choose what you actually want once.
Freedom doesn’t start loud. It starts private and consistent.
