Use What You Have
You chose this card because you have been waiting to begin.
Waiting to feel more ready. Waiting for more clarity. Waiting for the version of yourself that seems sufficient to the size of what you feel called to. Waiting, perhaps, for the fear to leave before you move.
The Work Your Light card arrives to tell you — with great gentleness, and with great clarity — that the waiting is the one thing standing between you and the life you are here to live.
You do not need to be further along. You do not need to know more. You do not need to be more healed, more certain, or more ready.
You need to work your light. Right now. With exactly what you have.
What the Card Is Seeing in You
You have gifts. Real ones. Not the ones you wish you had, or the ones you are working toward, or the ones you imagine you might have once you have done more inner work.
The ones you have now.
And you have been underusing them — not from laziness, but from a sincere belief that you are not yet enough to offer them fully. That the world deserves better than this work-in-progress version of your gifts. That you would be doing people a disservice by offering what you carry before it is more fully developed.
The card sees this belief with tremendous compassion. And it also sees that the belief is wrong.
The people who need what you carry right now are not waiting for the future version of your gifts. They need the current version. And every day you wait is a day someone goes without something you could have given them.

The lightworker who waits until they are fully healed before they help anyone heals no one, including themselves. The healing and the working happen together — the offering is part of the practice, the practice is part of the offering, and neither is complete without the other.
Your light is not a finished product. It is a living thing — and it grows through being used. Every time you offer what you carry, you access more of it. Every time you hold it back, it has less room to develop.
The world does not need your perfected, fully-realised, ultimately-developed light.
It needs the light you have. Right now. Today.

- What unique way of seeing, feeling, or being do you bring to interactions that you have been withholding, waiting until you have more authority or more certainty?
- What piece of work have you been sitting on, waiting until it is better, that is already good enough to offer?

Make a list of ten things you know how to do, ten things you understand deeply, ten ways you naturally make things better for the people around you.
This is your current light. Read the list and acknowledge: this is real. This is sufficient. This is enough to begin.
Then choose one item from the list and find a way to offer it today.
ANSWER THE CALL
Write: “The light I am currently carrying, right now, without waiting to develop it further, includes: ___”. Fill the page.
Then write: “I commit to working this light — not the light I am hoping to have, but the light I already carry. Starting today.”
Carry this with you:
